Achieving the “film look” with your DSLR

There's something much to be desired of film that we just don't get straight out the box with our DSLR's. From the wide dynamic range to the subtle film grain there is a variety of elements that will give your image that impact that screams "Hollywood blockbuster". Before you read my take on how to achieve cinematic quality with your DSLR, take a look at the video posted at the top of the page. I used the entire process written below to achieve this effect.
