2012 sucks

When we were younger we didn’t know anything about 2012 the y2k bug and all this other doomsday crap the media feeds us. Saturday morning cartoons and sci-fi movies have taught us the value of using our imagination to look forward to the future. But where have our imaginations lead us to in our present state ?

Growing up all I knew about the future was :

a) cars will fly
b) hoverboards will exist
c) you can talk to your tv

Yeah I know...too much Back to the Future for me (lol) ! I was an addict for that stuff, like c'mon you didn't think Toyota would have a flying vehicle by now o_O? To my knowledge many of these things don't exist but some of our ideas on the future have come to pass.

Yes robots rule our world. The fact that your reading this now is proof enough that they do ! I remember when we had the blackout in NY not too long ago and people didn't know what the hell to do without technology, it sent us right back to the stone age. When it happened I was on the computer gaming my life away & the power went out. I immediately heard screaming outside and some guy yelling "BIN LADEN IS HERE !". It freaked me out, it freaked everyone out for that matter.

Its like mankind already had it established in their head that when technology fails "shit hit's the fan". Blackberry crashes ? "FML". iPhone freezes ? "F you Steve Jobs ! I got a job for you alright ! BLOW ME !".

So if we act like this with the devices we have now IMAGINE if we had flying cars and stuff ! Road rage will be at a whole 'nother level. "Wait...did that guy just cut ABOVE me ? Im gonna hover over to him & give him a piece of my mind...with my plasma cannon !"
Imagine virtual chatrooms where you can see and feel the user ? Who the hell is going to go to class with things like that available ! Thats like twitter on steroids ! Im kind of grateful that we have not advanced to that level. Mankinds track record has proved that as much good as technology can do for us it can bring us great disaster. Instead of the birth of cool things our nations leaders invest in nuclear weapon's research. We have had patents for FREE energy since the 1940s whatever happened to that ?Instead of pursuing technology that will help mankind, we focus on tech that will lead us to our last days.

War & social degeneration is all the rage these days, whatever happened to peace & prosperity ?

I am thankful that our technology isn't as advanced as it was once thought to be. We have alot of growing to do people and I doubt mother nature will approve of all this technology anyway ;)
