Imperia GP : putting the sexy in Hybrid

Remember when electric cars first popped up in the market how ugly and unconventional they were ? They were legitimately a glorified 60mph hot wheels car you had to plug in every couple of miles to drive. Fast forward to 2011 hybrids have matured and grew into the swans that they were meant to be and the Imperia GP is no different. With a design that plays to the strengths of something out of the model T era, the Imperia GP not only sports a $110,000 price tag, but a place in my heart as well ^_^. The Imperia GP is a plugin hybrid with a turbocharged 1.6L four cylinder combustion engine complimented by an electric engine with a driving range of 44 miles just off battery power. It's swift,it's sexy and it's green...what more can you ask for ?
